Going for it yourself

Canoe Litter Picking can be easy, but it's important to act responsibly. You can litter pick from the bank, from kayaks, SUPs or canoes. Just make sure you consider the safety of your volunteers and ensure they have the appropriate equipment. Have fun and feel free to tell us how it went and any pictures you've taken. Canal and Rivers Trust

An organisation you should be familiar with. The CRT organise various volunteering projects all around the country including canal rejuvenation and development. They are also helpful in supporting river litter picking and also offer canal adoptions.
